Comercial Break

Commercials are a quite a fickle part of our society. There are some that you can't get enough of and some that you want to aspire to the CEO of the company just to fire the person who made it and everyone else who said it was a great idea. I would say that in the following commercials, I would be the latter.


First and foremost, I start with the painfully irksome Vonage commercial. Because of this commercial, I will NEVER switch to Vonage even if I HAD a home phone. There are so many levels of wrong in this horrific ad.


First, who told that lady, "Hey, because of our ridiculously long nose and short round face, you should get an A line bob cut. Then we'll shatter your bangs at LEAST 2 inches from your eyebrows and curl the front of your hair so it comes to two points on the side of your head. Kind of like the devil." She would be actually kind of pretty if her hair was different was she wasn't such a biotch in the commercial.





Okay so I might have exaggerated the underdog kind of look for this feller. Second, throughout the entire commercial all she does is cut him off and talk to him like he is her inferior. The poor guy can't even finish a single sentience. Now in the fair game of a debate, each person gets a chance to give a shfeal about what he thinks. It is one of my biggest pet peeves and there is a story behind that (It'll be my next post).


The Poor guy never even gets a chance and gets bumped out of the picture entirely. Now that's just plain rude.Next commercial.



Giecko Caveman Commercial

I HATE HATE HATE this commercial! If there was ever a company to become the CEO of just to fire someone, it's for this company. I love to joke around with people and especially watching other people joke around with other people but then it just turns awkward when someone gets offended. I mean, c'mon, swallow your pride and ego and take the freakin joke; you can cry about it at home. I know there are some exceptions to this rule but an extinct civilization is not one of them. You can only imagine my anger when the TV series came out.

With all the negativity flowing through this blog right now I decided to put on a couple of ceommercials that I think are super cool.

This one made me laugh so hard. Obviously you can see that it doesn't take much to make me laugh but you can't beat people falling down looking like idiots.

This one isn't as funny but it's just as cool. I wonder if it's even real.
