Rags To Riches

I walked into the room and saw this bleak wall:

So I found this canvas at DI for only $1.00!

But with every good deal, there is always a downside. I got to be followed around all day by two Mexicans in a red van. They were standing by the canvas originally and when I asked, "Is this yours?" and it obviously sounded like I said, "I'm single so please follow me around creepily". A simple mistake that anyone could make, really.

So I went to Wal-Mart to buy some red paint and transform the canvas into this:

Then, with my magical vinyl skills and using knick-knack decorations around the house, I clothed my naked wall:

Now before you all go into a six month depression because of my creativity and your lack of, I should probably take the DI price stickers off everything before someone notices my cheapness.

"lack thereof"? Seriously? You'd be amazed with how totally awesome I can make a DI suit coat and biker short look, sista!

oh, if only I could get into your creative mind for a little while. My home would be so stinkin' cute.

I was actually being sarcastic at the end. I wish I had an ounce of creativity. Obviously the Mormon Bachelor is a bachelor because of his obliviousness to sarcasm.

And Becky, you totally have a creative mind! I love your new bedroom set that screams awesomeness.

Jessica!

It actually turned out cute. Not that I doubted you THAT much, but when you called me, freaking out about the Mexicans following you, I thought you'd forget all about decorating your house and use the canvas to board up your windows.

P.S. I want to have a love affair with those vinyl swirls.
