The Journal Jar

When I was a laurel oh so many years ago ( okay maybe it was only 2), I got this "Journal Jar" from my young woman's leader. She is quite possibly the best young woman's leader EVER. Well inside is a bunch of journal ideas. I have decided to convert this "Journal Jar" into a "Blog Jar".

What is your favorite movie? Why?




ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

This is my favorite movie now and I'll tell you why..

1.This movie makes you fall in love with The Beatles all over again because of the catchy way they remake their tunes!

2. It really is a complex and beautiful love story that I could imagine as realistic. Not like some high school fling, but a grown up true love.

3. It's a musical, need I say more?

4. It has love, drugs, Independence, violence, controversy and "Hey Jude". Everything.

5. There is art in it which I think is expressive and creative.

I would give it four stars. They show some lady jugs in it and some guys in their underwear carrying the statue of liberty. I wouldn't exactly watch this with my mom or with kids but I do recommend it if you are into The Beatles and sexy men from Liverpool!
